office mate

i am at a loss for words.

my vocabulary does not seem to work anymore.

my dialect is an artifact.

how can i replace it?

what to replace it with?

i’ve decided to absorb the dialect of the woman who sits directly across from me at work. i have been here almost a month and she thus far has not made eye contact.

but she dresses really well.

today she has some sort of bandana around her neck.

i think it could only be a statement.

and people seem to like her.

and she has tons of energy.

and she boxes in the morning.

and she has lots of enthusiasm.

so it makes sense that it would be her dialogue that i will try to absorb.

it helps to have a model.

About The Lost Pedestrian

In my wanderings throughout the moments/days/years, I try in earnest to find the mystical within the mundane and the mundane within the mystical, oftentimes confusing one from the other. I have wandered and roamed through many a city, many a town, in a state of wonder and bewilderment, without necessarily going anywhere. I am easily lost, but eventually found. (I am guessing you have just found me). My sincere hope is that you will find Something in this warehouse of thought, memory and false memory, words, numbers, tangents, murmurs, echoes (lots and lots of echoes), voices, dreams, and other paraphernalia.
